About the Emerging Leaders
Emerging Leaders is a unique networking and volunteering opportunity for young professionals ages 20 to 40. As an Emerging Leader you get to hang out with kids at Austin's 15 Boys & Girls Clubs and learn the ins and outs of philanthropy, community, business and policy-making from the people who know it best.

Emerging Leaders commit to four volunteer service projects throughout the year besides supporting the day-to-day Club programs. So if helping eager young people realize their full potential sounds like a good plan, and if becoming an influential member of the community sounds like icing on the cake, let's make it happen. Join the Emerging Leaders and start hanging out with the coolest kids in town.

Mothers have a day. Fathers have a day. Even groundhogs have a day. Isn't it time that kids have their own day too? Celebrating the positive and meaningful time spent between adults and kids is what Boys & Girls Clubs Day for Kids is all about. Join Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area, AMERIGROUP and American Heart Association in this national celebration. Share a moment, create a memory, and make it a great day for the special kid in your life. Festivities will include games, moonwalks, food, drinks, prizes, dance competitions, face painting, arts and crafts and more! This event is FREE and open to the public.
