The Club is open 245 days a year, with over 1,600 total hours of programming. We serve almost 10,000 Austin kids every year and more than 1,000 every day. Since 2001, the number of kids we serve has increased four fold, while our budget has doubled. 86 cents out of every dollar in our budget goes directly to the kids. Yearly membership dues for youth are $25, only $1 for housing authority members, and nothing at our school-based clubs. 55% of our members are between 13 and 18 years old. 57% of alumni surveyed nationally say the club actually "saved their life". The Boys & Girls Club is ranked #1 among all youth organizations by the Chronicle of Philanthropy. [back to top]
